Hey there! Back again with another blog 👋 But this time… it’s something personal.
🛤️ The Goodbye That Changed Everything
It was 20th July — the day I left my hometown.
Mom and Dad came to drop me at the station. Everything felt chill at first, but the moment I picked up my bags…
Mom hugged me tight. And for a second, the whole world paused.
That hug? Man, that wasn’t just a goodbye.
It was love, emotions, care, and childhood all packed into one. 😣💔
I didn’t want to let go… but I had to.
Dad gave me a silent nod — the kind that says “go chase your dreams”
I nodded back, wiped my eyes, and stepped onto the train — off to Bengaluru, off to begin my college life.
🎓 A New Chapter Begins
So yeah, I’m now in Bengaluru, doing my B.Sc. Data Science at Dayananda Sagar University.
It was my Uncle who came along with me and helped me settle into the hostel. Felt like a piece of home came with me… I already miss him too.
📅 Orientation Mode: Activated
25th July was my official first day of college - Orientation Day.
And guess what? It’s not a one-day thing. It’s running till 29th July 😐
But honestly… it’s been worth it.
I’ve met people from all over the country - different states, different cities, different stories.
Everyone’s nervous, everyone’s excited. We’re all strangers figuring things out together - and that’s how bonds start.
🎤 Inspiring Moments & Grateful Feels
One thing that stood out was getting to listen to amazing speakers like:
-
Dr. Madhan Kumar Srinivasan
-
Dr. Sneha Rao
They shared thoughts and I installed in my Brain, that moment I felt grateful - like “yeah, I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.”
All of this this journey, this chance is because of my parents.
I’ll always be thankful to them.
🌆 What's Next?
Classes are about to begin, and I’m both excited and slightly nervous.
New city, new routine, hostel life, lectures — it’s all new. But I’m ready to take it head-on.
I just hope I learn a lot, meet amazing people, and become the best version of myself — both as a student and a human being.
That’s it for this one.
If you’ve ever left home to start something new, you probably get how I feel. That first hug hits deep - but what lies ahead is worth it.
